An introduction to Cyber Essentials with the WCRC and IASME

Cyber Essentials is a government-backed scheme that helps businesses become more resilient against cyberattacks. The initiative is supported by industry experts and its simple, yet effective measures help to protect businesses and organisations from the most common threats including phishing, malware and ransomware.

Regardless of size and sector, being Cyber Essentials certified is encouraged for all businesses and organisations.

The Cyber Resilience Centre for Wales teamed up with Cyber Essentials accrediting body IASME for a webinar detailing more about the scheme with topics including:

  • Benefits of Cyber Essentials

  • Controls to put in place

  • The assessment process

If you would like to discuss Cyber Essentials further, please contact the centre and we will put you in touch with one of our Cyber Essentials partners that can provide additional support and services.
